I want to thank you for keeping me informed and yet your last note before 2/06/06 sadly didn’t let me know anything that was kept from me.
I’m glad you liked my supporter’s desire to have my inmate number tattooed on her on the sixth. This was very appropriate and meaningful to me since body art is one of our old traditions. Indeed, patriotic body art has been a long standing tradition among those men and woman who have served, and currently serve, bravely in the military branches that protect our constitutional freedoms. Body art has also been taken up by many prominent people that we all look up to such as U.S. Presidents John F. Kennedy and Gerald R. Ford, Senator Barry Goldwater, Admiral Bill Halsey, King George V of England; celebrities Julia Roberts, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and many others. Doctors and nurses are also getting the caduceus (the medical symbol if you didn’t already know) and firemen are having Dalmatians in fireman’s hats done on them. We surely can look up to the NYFD after 9/11 since they certainly did their job.
Thanks also for thinking about Robert, Dino and myself and since you are a man of prayer, I would like if you could include a few more people to your list when praying. Please pray for the families of the over sixty murders on Pine Ridge that have no convicted murderers along with loved ones of Joe Stuntz and Anna Mae. Also pray for the Vietnamese victims and survivors of My Lai, Wen ho Lee, Richard Jewell, Emad Salem, Joseph Salvati and their families and the families who lost loved ones in Waco Texas. You may also want to pray for H. Paul Rico, John Connolly, and others in the intelligence community who have brought shame on this government, the agencies they served, and this great country by their egregious abuses of power.
I hope I let you in on some things that you aren’t told about. Your friends are habitual in keeping things from people so I want to keep you as informed as I can.
