A few days ago I received a message from a family member, my cousin Jim Robideau,
. “Thank you Jim ( Cuz) for remembering me and keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. Have a Nice and Fun trip to Spain, Belgium, and Germany”

After receiving my message from Jim Robideau, I remembered Steve Robideau, also my cousin who has now passed on to the spirit world. Steve Robideau was the original founder of , In the Spirit of Crazy Horse Newsletter , the official newsletter by the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee. Steve, ( Cuz) dedicated many years of his life working towards my freedom. Today I received a copy of the July 2007 In the Spirit of Crazy Horse Newsletter, and enjoyed seeing the pictures of the Oglala Commemoration. You don’t know how good it feels that after 32 years, people meet in Oglala on June 26, 2007 and remember those that died during the Reign of Terror.
Our struggle was for the survival of our people, our traditions, our heritage, and our future generations. I still hope and pray that one day I will be free among you and see a nation of independence, tradition, culture and solidarity.
